We are looking for a passionate cooks
for our Wild Wing restaurant. In this role you will, plate and present
foodservice in a prompt, courteous and accurate manner in accordance to
standardized recipes that exceed guest’s expectations.
Training available
RESPONSIBILITIES

Food
preparation in keeping with standardized recipes including the following:
·
stocks,
sauces & soups, starches
·
vegetables
·
meat,
poultry & fish
·
sandwiches
& salads
·
use
of convenience foods
·
use
of spices, seasonings, & flavouring
·
Apply
developed knowledge of menu items
·
Ensure
all opening / closing procedures are completed (shift dependent)
·
Competent
in the use and care of kitchen tools and equipment
·
Ensure
safe, sanitary and secure storage of products and receive delivery when
required
QUALIFICATIONS
·
Food
Safe Certified (or equivalent) required
ABILITIES, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE
·
Previous
food preparation experience preferred
·
Positive
and team orientated attitude
·
Willingness
and ability to work flexible hours (evenings & weekends)
·
Wage
starting at $15.20 - $16.00 depending on experience.

Gordon Smith Gallery: Call For Volunteers
The Gordon Smith
Gallery is currently looking to fill volunteer shifts for the Gallery's public
hours on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings/afternoons.
The volunteer
position primarily involves greeting visitors, and ensuring that they complete
a Visitor Sign In/Daily Health Check form for the ESC. The position also
includes gallery supervision and assistance with public programming.
