Grouse Mountain Volunteer Opportunity

Are you looking for a summer volunteer program?
Do you have a passion for the outdoors?
Apply to be a Grouse Mountain Adventure Camp volunteer!

We are pleased to offer high school students aged 14-18, who have a passion for the
outdoors and working with youth a chance to complete a volunteer experience term with the
Grouse Mountain Adventure Programs team. We are excited about helping students gain
confidence with groups and become better leaders as they take on leadership roles and
discover a possible career within the Camps/Outdoor industry.

This is a volunteer based development program to assist youth with a passion for the
outdoors and youth development by providing a hands-on learning approach. All
participants will commit to attend 2 days of training and be available for a minimum of 2
camp programs, which run 5 days each. This equates to approx. 90hrs.

Students will have the opportunity to outline personal goals and work with camp leaders to
achieve them and advance their skills.

In order to be a part of the program all candidates must complete an online volunteer
application by going to www.grousemountain.com/careers and looking for the position
‘Camp Volunteer’. Applicants must provide a cover letter, an up to date resume and two
letters of reference. This process must be completed by
June 15th 2018.
