GIRLS FLY 2: Free Event - April 29, 20, 2023
Join us on April 29-30, 2023 at the Abbotsford International Airport in BC, Canada for the world’s largest diversity outreach event of its kind to inspire female future leaders from shop floor to top floor in Aviation, Aerospace, Marine & Defence. Everyone of any age, gender or citizenship is welcome to attend - it's completely FREE! No registration is required to attend, and parking is also FREE.

Apprenticeship Opportunity: Britmar Marine Ltd.
1) For Britmar Marine and Britmar power: Apprentice electrician
- 4 year program 2/3 months at a technical college and then the balance of the year at our facility.
- Inside work and out side service work on vessels of all types. Prefer good back ground in Science.
- Marine Lighting, Lithium battery technology, off-grid applications.
2) Vancouver Liferaft: Trainee in Life Saving Appliance technician
- 2 - 3 month training in house servicing life rafts, immersion suits and life jackets.
- After initial in house training overseas for 1 week for more training and certification .
- Some physical work required .
