Calling all Boys & Girls to join the ball crew
One key to Odlum Brown VanOpen’s success is the dedication and enthusiasm of our outstanding Ball Crew. Mark your calendar and join us August 11-19, 2018.
To become a member of our ball crew, boys and girls must be between the ages of 12 and 18 years, have experience playing tennis, and be available from August 11th to 19th. Ball Crew members will also need to complete two training sessions that will be held in May, June, July and August leading up to the tournament.
In exchange for their service, the tournament will provide Ball Crew members with:
- Meals, snacks, water and sports drinks
- Sunscreen to wear when on court and a large tent for relaxing in the shade between matches
- An official Ball Crew shirt and hat to be worn throughout the tournament (Ball Crew members will need to wear their own black shorts to complete the uniform)
- Access to watch the tournament when not on court (although staying out of the sun is monitored :))
Our great Ball Crew Managers, Andrew Bailey and Sierra Roberts, will contact team members about the training schedule once their online application form has been received.
