Calling all future scientists, inventors and innovators age 14-16!
Join us online from February 22-26 for our free annual Girls and STEAM event! This action-packed week will provide engaging, future-focused opportunities for girls age 14-16 to explore dream careers and connect with inspiring mentors and experts in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts & design, and math).
Participants will enjoy an exhibitor showcase, panel discussions and breakout sessions with 100 mentors, interactive experiments and workshops with leaders in STEAM, and a spectacular gameshow!
This year, the keynote will be delivered by Alexis Williams, activist and student at the Tandon School of Engineering at New York University, who combined her coding skills with her passion for activism to create pb-resources.com, an anti-racism toolkit that teaches users about allyship and Black history, and encourages direct action.
While the terms “women” and “girls” are used in our event, we invite participants and mentors who identify as women, girls, trans, genderqueer, non-binary, two-spirit, and gender questioning.
Thank you to our sponsors and partners for their generous support. To discuss sponsorship of future events, please reach out to giving@scienceworld.ca
